We started Seed & Spark because we know first-hand the challenges of caring for babies and toddlers at home: the isolation, the boredom, the frustration, the lack of adult interaction.
In Seed & Spark, we are creating a space - a community - where you can come to be your adult self, make connections with other like-minded mums (and dads), and feed your mind, body and soul.
OUR Courses and workshops
We offer a wide range of courses and workshops. Our standard courses run for five weeks, with one 90-minute or 120-minute class per week depending on the course. Our one-off workshops are two-hours in duration. Both formats are designed to be baby-friendly, with some downtime built in for cuddles or feeds as required.
Our venues all have convenient parking and public transport access, are pram-friendly, and have great brunch and lunch options so you can further bond with your classmates. And our teachers are not just experts in their field, they're also local mums - so they understand the challenges you're facing.
So what are you waiting for? It's time to do that thing you always said you would do on your parental leave. It's time to think about what's really important to you, and what you might want to do next in life. Plant the seed of a new interest. Fan the spark of a passion you've been keeping on the backburner.
Time to get your groove back :)
As well as being a great way to meet other like-minded mums and dads, Seed & Spark is also the perfect activity for your Mothers Group. Book as a group of 6 and the 7th comes free (book for 7 and use voucher code "MUMSGROUP") - or enquire about a custom class for your group!
Sydney Central / Inner West courses run at Glebe Town Hall and our Eastern Suburb courses run at Paddington RSL.
We will also be opening branches on the North Shore in mid 2018.
Stay tuned for updates and get in touch if you would be interested in joining our team!
Every one of our courses come with a built-in nanny service for children aged 6 weeks to (under) 5 years of age. The pop-up creche is situated at the far end of the class space, close enough that you can still see your little ones (and they you), but far enough removed that you can actually focus on your class.
Childminding for one child is included in your course fee. You can also book in additional children by adding our "Bring an Extra Child" product to your order in desired quantity. Additional children are charged at $60 each for the 5-week course, or $14 for a 2-hour workshop - that's just $8 per hour.
All our nannies are experienced, have a current working with children check (WWCC) and come stocked with toys, books, plentiful cuddles, and endless stores of patience.
Naturally, you can't skip town entirely -- you will need to stay on the premises, and we may need to tag you in if your child is unwell, inconsolable, or needs a nappy change. But with a ratio of at least one nanny to every 3-4 children, you can sit back and relax, knowing that your little treasures are in safe hands!
Coming without kids? Use the code "CHILDFREE" at checkout to receive a $30 discount!
Please write the first names and ages of any children you'll be bringing in the 'notes' box at checkout.
We request that all children are up-to-date with their vaccination schedule and that you do not send children who are unwell, have fevers, or are in an infectious stage of illness.
