our missionWe started Seed & Spark because we know first-hand the challenges of caring for babies and toddlers at home: the isolation, the boredom, the frustration, the lack of adult interaction.
In Seed & Spark, we are creating a space - a community - where you can come to be your adult self, make connections with other like-minded mums (and dads), and feed your mind, body and soul. OUR Courses and workshopsWe offer a wide range of courses and workshops. Our standard courses run for four weeks, with one 90-minute class per week. The format and class content are both designed to be baby-friendly, with some downtime built in for cuddles or feeds as required.
Our venues all have convenient parking and public transport access, are pram-friendly, and have great brunch and lunch options so you can further bond with your classmates. And our teachers are not just experts in their field, they're also local mums - so they understand the challenges you're facing. So what are you waiting for? It's time to do that thing you always said you would do on your parental leave. It's time to think about what's really important to you, and what you might want to do next in life. Plant the seed of a new interest. Fan the spark of a passion you've been keeping on the backburner. Time to get your groove back :) As well as being a great way to meet other like-minded mums and dads, Seed & Spark is also the perfect activity for your Mothers Group. Book as a group of 6 and the 7th comes free (book for 7 and use voucher code "MUMSGROUP") - or enquire about a custom class for your group! |
OUR CRECHE PROGRAMEvery one of our courses come with our built-in Little Sparks creche program for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The creche is situated right next to the class space, close enough that you can still see your little ones if desired, but far enough removed that you can actually focus on your class.
Developed by qualified early childhood educators, our unique 'Little Sparks' program provides age appropriate activities that stimulate language building skills, gross motor skills, social skills and creative expression. Each 90-minute session included singing songs, reading stories, and playing games that scaffold learning in a relaxed and fun environment. Different craft activities are also available each week for toddlers and older children. Our experienced nannies lead the program, providing a safe and engaging environment for your little ones. The consistency of nannies and activities each week also provides an extra level of predictability, allowing the little ones to find safety in the routine. Naturally, you can't skip town entirely -- you will need to stay on the premises, and we may need to tag you in if your child is unwell, inconsolable, or needs a nappy change. But with a ratio of at least one nanny to every 3-4 children, you can sit back and relax, knowing that your little treasures are in safe hands! Childminding for one child is included in your course fee. You can also book in additional children for the duration of your course by adding our "Bring an Extra Child" product to your order in desired quantity. Coming without kids? Use the code "CHILDFREE" at checkout to receive a $30 discount! Don't forget to write the first names and ages of any children you'll be bringing in the 'notes' box at checkout! We require that all children are up-to-date with their vaccination schedule, and that you do not send children who are unwell, have fevers, or are in an infectious stage of illness.
