French for Beginners (IW)
Always wanted to learn French? Come along to a friendly and relaxed class to learn more about French language and culture. Our aim is to introduce students to foreign language learning in a fun, dynamic weekly session. No prior knowledge necessary.
Date: Fridays, 4 May - 1 June 2018, 11:00am-12:30pm
Duration: 5 x 1.5 hours classes (7.5 hours in total)
Venue: Glebe Town Hall

Each session will have a particular subject/theme, and the basics of grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary will be woven throughout.

Week 3. Food, drink and shopping
Week 4. Feelings, likes and dislikes
Week 5. Getting around
The emphasis is on learning basic phrases, noting their construction, and practicing speaking as much as possible. The teacher will also seek input from students on their interests so as to tailor the content accordingly.
