Jesmonite vase & unicorn figurine
Join our fun jesmonite marbling vase & unicorn figurine workshop specifically tailored for little creatives.
A friendly, local teacher will support your child through every step of this craft workshop making a beautiful vase and unicorn figurine. The material they will be using is jesmonite, a gypsum and acrylic-based material that is solvent-free, non-toxic and has no VOC's and is often called an eco-resin.
In this craft class in Sydney, kids will learn:
- How to mix and add colours to the Jesmonite to create their own choice of colour palette.
- Learn the marbling technique.
- Cast the materials into a silicon mould for their chosen shape.
- Seal the creations with a wax sealent.
Once their pieces have coloured, poured and cured, the teacher will show them how to take it out of the mold and seal their creations.
This jesmonite workshop is about creativity and connection. As the little artists get in touch with their imagination and explore a world of colour, they'll also get the opportunity to meet new friends and be social. It's perfect as a school activity or birthday party idea to keep your kids entertained, and learning new skills away from their screens.
Class sizes are always kept small so that you enjoy hands-on assistance while you learn and create.
