Floral Design [Course A] (IW)
Nothing is more beautiful than fresh flowers, or more therapeutic than arranging them into breathtaking bouquets and arrangements! If you've always wanted to be able to create florist-quality arrangements in your own home, this is the course for you.
Christina will teach the elements and principles for floral design plus home and event styling tips throughout the course. You will learn all the basics of floral design including handtied bouquets, pot arrangements, and floral wiring.
You'll come away from the course with the confidence to create the perfect floral design for the moment in your own unique style.

Duration: 5 x 1.5 hours classes (7.5 hours in total)

Week 1: Hand tied bouquets
Week 2: Arranging in pots and vases
Week 3: Dinner table arrangements
Week 4: Floral wiring for wearable pieces (hair pieces, buttoneires, etc)
Week 5: Traditional wreath making
Materials provided: All flowers, tape, wires etc.
Students to bring: A pair of garden secateurs or floristry scissors, a notebook and a pen.
Experience Level: No experience required

Christina is a Sydney based florist with a range of expertise in floral styling and event floristry. Her stunning arrangements reflect her adoration of all things wild and botanical. She upholds the belief that there is no element quite like the florals that brings life to the celebration or home. Christina runs workshops and courses for adults and kids and loves to share the simple joy of creating with nature.
