Cake Decorating (NS)
Get hands on with all the modern cake decorating techniques in this introductory practical course. You'll learn how to cover cakes with buttercream, fondant and ganache, and perfect a wide range of piping techniques.Each week you'll tackle a different cake decorating style, including rose cupcakes, sharp-edged fondant cake, semi-naked cake and drip cake!
Cupcakes for week one are included, as are all icings, embellishments, tools, cake boxes etc. Students will need to bring cakes as directed for weeks 2 and 3 (see course outline for further details).
Duration: 4 x 1.5 hour sessions, once weekly for 4 consecutive weeks
Location: Northside Baptist Church, 63 Willoughby Rd Crows Nest (2 hour free parking at rear in the Holtermann St Carpark)
