SPARK KIDS LEGO CLASS (Spectacular World of Sports theme) - Term 3 August start
***Lego after-school classes have been post-poned until after lockdown**
Want your child to experience the amazing possibilities of science, tech and maths though playing with LEGO? BRICKS 4 KIDZ After School workshops build on the universal popularity of LEGO® bricks to deliver a high quality of educational play.
Partnering with Bricks4kidz we will be making fun creations weekly, your child will learn to grow their interest and knowledge of building and enjoy their afternoons with other enthusiastic LEGO peers. Students will participate in term-long sessions constructing a new model each week.
In Term three we will be focusing on the Spectacular World of Sports: Explore sports ranging from gymnastics to biking to mini-golf! This unit is a great way to get “sporty” kids building and get LEGO® fans interested in sports. Some lessons focus on the importance of physical fitness and different aspects of fitness, such as stamina and strength. Other lessons describe the mechanics of the sport, such as the physics involved in golf and the components of a stationary bike. But the best part for the students is the way the models move and the fun they have playing with them after they’re built.
Maybe they’ll be inspired to try a new sport, or build a model of their favourite sport!
