SPARK KIDS School holidays - Learn how to finger knit necklaces (online + kit)
Have you always wanted to try knitting but have been too overwhelmed with the tools? What if I told you that you could knit with your fingers! Learn a fun and simple way to knit up some beautiful wearable accessories to keep or to gift.
Join us for a hands-on, 1.5 hour interactive zoom class! Finger knitting kits with yarn and decorative hardware are included in the class with delivery. Each kit will allow you to make up to 4 accessories.
Your instructor is high school Design and Technology teacher Bernadette from BernadetteHuang, who will teach you how to finger knit and walk you through step-by-step how to make your very own wearable accessory!
You will also be shown some other tips and tricks for adding a bit of flair to your designs that you can experiment with after the lesson.
The Finger Knitting Kit includes enough material to make up to 4 accessories*:
• 6 different colours of Jersey yarn
• 1 set of black decorative hardware
• 1 set of rose gold decorative hardware
*please prepare some scissors for the lesson
Please note colours of the yarn may differ to the photos above - they are examples only
No experience necessary, all levels welcome.
Pick up at Drummoyne or Homebush West or delivery for $10.
Class is suitable for children 8-16 years old, no prior experience necessary.
Children under 8 are welcome but adult help/support during the class is recommended
